The quickest and most simple recipe for when you have several mouths to feed in a pinch or you just want delicious leftover for days.
1 Box Penne Pasta, cooked and drained
1 LB Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese
1 Jar of your favorite pasta sauce
1 T Garlic Powder
1 t salt and pepper
1 and 1/2 C Mozzarella, shredded
1 C Parmesan, grated
****1 lb cooked ground beef (optional)
Preheat oven to 350
Lightly grease a large casserole dish and set aside
In a large mixing bowl, add ricotta, garlic powder, salt and pepper
Mix until combined
Add in jar of sauce and pasta (and ground beef if using)
Mix until thoroughly combined
Add pasta mixture to casserole dish and top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese
Cover with tinfoil and bake in oven for 30 minutes
Carefully remove tinfoil and bake additional 10-15 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned and bubbling
Let sit for 10 minutes before serving
Easy and delicious!
