1 Package Fresh Linguine
1 Lb Peeled and Deveined Shrimp
6 T Butter
6 Cloves Garlic, Minced
1/2 C Dry White Wine
1/2 Lemon, Squeezed
Handful of Fresh Parsley, Chopped
Pinch of Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (Optional)
Salt and Pepper to taste
In a large pot boil water and add generous amount of salt (It should taste like the sea)
In a large sauté pan add butter and garlic and sauté on low heat for 2 minutes, stirring continuously
Lightly season shrimp with salt and pepper
Add in shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side or until shrimp have turned pink
Remove shrimp
Add fresh pasta to boiling water and cook for 4 minutes or until pasta is al dente
Add white wine to sauté pan and cook for 2 minutes
Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Add shrimp back in the pan
Carefully add the cooked pasta to the sauté pan (It’s okay if some of the pasta water gets in the sauce, it helps the pasta stick to the sauce, just be sure to taste and season accordingly)
Top with chopped parsley and serve immediately
