Apple Pie Dump Cake with a Cinnamon Pecan Streusel

Ooey gooey apple pie filling topped with a spiced cake mix topped with a sweet and crunchy streusel. This is the perfect dessert to make for a holiday gathering or a potluck!

Cake

2 Cans Apple Pie Filling

1 Box Spice Cake Mix

2 Sticks Butter, melted

Streusel

1/2 C Pecans, chopped

4 T Brown Sugar

4 T Flour

1 T Cinnamon

4 T Butter, melted

Pinch of salt

Caramel Sauce (optional)

Preheat oven to 350

Lightly grease 9×13 pan

Add apple pie filling to pan and spread until even

Sprinkle cake mix on top of apples and spread until even

Slowly add melted butter being sure to cover all of the cake mix

In a small bowl combine all ingredients of streusel and add to top of cake mixture

Bake for 35 minutes

Carefully remove from oven and let sit for 20 minutes

Drizzle caramel sauce on top if desired

Serve warm or room temperature with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
